Contributions to Asian American Literary Studies

The LIT book series "Contributions to Asian American Literary Studies'" is an international forum for the interdisciplinary discussion of Asian American literary studies. Contextualizing the Asian American experience in literature demands a widening theoretical framework from within which to analyze particular texts. Corollary to this, the interactive processes of the creation of Asian American cultural studies impose new strategies of reading characterized by a continual call to to reorientation and a new conditioning of the determinants of meaning. The series editors, Nicoleta Alexoae-Zagni (Université Paris 8 | Vincennes - Saint-Denis) and Sämi Ludwig (UHA Mulhouse), offer specific readings that show the richness, complexity, and diversity of Asian American cultural production through critical and theoretical lenses that focus on a wide variety of writers and genres. This series has initiated a dialogue on with the most innovative expression within diverse areas of research, reflecting the mood of Asian American creativity, where an expanding canon of texts and renewed readings continually add to a growing body of literary and cultural signification.
