The present book is a collection of articles written by psychologists and pedagogues from two countries. The authors from Norway are working in the field of Sport science at the Finnmark University College in Alta, and the authors from Poland are psychologists, pedagogues and sociologists conducting their research in varied fields at the Pomeranian University in Slupsk. The common feature is that all are interested in the same field of research: motivation. Therefore the articles present the issue of motivation, looked at from various angles and different approaches. At the same time these articles also provide insight into similarities and differences, specific for given countries.
