Klappentext
The report on family care for older people in Germany is based on the German survey of the six-countries-study EUROFAMCARE. This survey focuses on the needs of family carers (N=1,003) as well as their cared-for relatives (65+). The analyses of different care situations show the influence of social determinants such as supporting services and informal networks on family caregivers' burden, health status, quality of life and quality of support. The report provides politicians, carer organisations and service providers with data and background information to promote measures for family carers.
