Looking at the very diverse social reality, differentiation and power dimensions within the community this study will facilitate our understanding of the Bangladeshi Diaspora in selected multi-cultural social setting of Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Johor Bahru.

Nayeem Sultana is an assistant professor at the department of anthropology, Shah Jalal University of Science & Technology, Sylhet, Bangladesh. She was previously affiliated with ZEFa as a junior researcher.
