This anthology asks, how results of the dialogue between Christian and Buddhist Philosophy and those of the dialogue between Theology and Natural Science could enrich each other.

It deals with (Intercultural) Hermeneutics in Philosophy of Religion and Natural Science and introduces the new concept of Deep Incarnation in Buddhist (and Christian) Thought.

The questions of dualistic and monistic Images of Reality in Natural Science and Philosophy of Religion are discussed.

Finally it discusses Linguistics and Philosophy of Language, including new results of Neuroscience, when it comes to the use of signs, symbols and metaphors in both disciplines.

Sybille C. Fritsch-Oppermann teaches Intercultural Hermeneutics in Natural and Religious Science at Technical University Clausthal/Germany . Her research focusses on relations between Religion, Art, Aesthetics and Philosophy.
